Same child showing blistering and erosions of lips and throat, buccal mucosa, and lips produce cheilitis and stomatitis. Swelling, redness, and erosions can be seen in the vulvar area. Involvement of the vagina induces a purulent vaginal discharge caused by desquamative vaginitis. Associated with involvement of the mucous membranes in the genitalia, mouth, and eyes, there is a symmetric vesiculobullous eruption over the hands and feet, knees, and distal extremities.
